The sites here are well spaced and staggered so that you aren't looking directly at the RV next to you. We stayed near the tree canopy but on the edge so satellite reception was easy. The owners live on site and are the managers. They have to be the nicest owners we've encountered. We watched Bill, one of the owners helping people park in the midst of a rain storm. We plan to come back here next summer and stay longer. The park is well maintained and a very peaceful and relaxing place to be.

We felt this was a fair price for a 50 amp hook-up. We were not charged extra for our tow vehicle since we are just staying over night and will not be going in and out of the gate with it. There seems to be a lot of pull through sites. We felt this was good for over night spot even though it's about 8 miles off the highway. It is windy here this afternoon. Not sure if that is typical weather.

The rate we paid is based on the monthly rate. We have spent two months here. The park is clean and well managed. Yolanda who works in the office is just terrific. Sites are big with concrete patios and adequate parking for a tow vehicle plus more if needed. There is a wide variety of activities, a lovely computer lab, movie night, craft room, wood working room and a fitness room. If you like to play Mah Jongg, this the place to visit! The players here are very welcoming and friendly. We hope to spend three months here next summer. There are many park models, but RVers are made to feel very welcome.

This park is at a slightly higher elevation than Albuquerque so the temperatures are nicer in the summer months. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were sent to the upper level which is fine but the turns are tight. We should have disconnected our tow vehicle before coming to our campsite. Trying to carefully negotiate a turn we caught one of our motor home tires on one of the large rocks that are along the roadway. A new tire will be required--costly. We stayed here on our RPI membership for $10 a night. We would stay here again. But we recommend disconnecting your toad, if you have one, at the Chevron station before entering the campground.

The management is very friendly and helpful. The woman who checked us in took time to give us a map of Taos and marked several important sites on the map. There is a small convenience store that is nicely stocked and clean. The campsites are level. It was cool while we were here so lack of trees wasn't an issue for us. There are a couple of long term campers but their sites are neatly maintained. We would stay here again.

We stayed here last summer with a Happy Camper discount rate. This year we no longer had that membership so paid the regular rate less Good Sam Discount. The owner/manager is very nice. The sites are tight for our 40 ft. motor home. We are near the Arena where a rodeo is to take place the next three days so there is some livestock corralled but flies aren't a problem for us. We might try another RV park in town because some look more inviting and their rates are about the same as here.

No frills but helpful host. Nice long pull throughs. Wi-Fi works very well. Verizon Cell phone doesn't work here. But that isn't the park's problem. We stayed two nights. At this time of year 50 amp hook-up is a must. Folks who live in the desert need their air conditioning!!!
